Law Professors View--Law Students are a Douchebag nation
I invite law professors from anywhere to share their observations about their experiences of the douchebaggish tendencies of contemporary law students. Your observations and anecdotes are welcomed. Sharing and commenting on student evaluation comments and Ratemyprofessor.com comments is encouraged. As I say to my students when teaching Moore v. Regents of U.C., everybody should have a chance to vend their spleen.

Have you ever had a student whose work is so bad you need to hide from her/him for a few weeks (or even months) to compose comments that don't imply suicide is preferable to reading the student's writing?
ReplyDeleteI suppose that it was inevitable that law students would begin treating their professors as commodities. Many professors, most administrators and USNWR have led us to commodify our institutions and students. It is tough to break through the commercial and through $36,000 annual tuition. I never said that they were douchebags without a cause.
